A parisian Maison like no other
This is the story of a passionate soul who fell into wine out of curiosity, stayed for love, and never stopped wanting to share this joy.
I come from the world of IT. Nothing destined me to open a wine cellar. My first encounter with wine was almost by chance, during an internship. I discovered a world completely foreign to me — back then, I couldn’t even tell the difference between an appellation and a château.
Champagne was what hooked me. I started tasting, getting interested, buying. Maybe a bit too much.
So family started asking me for bottles, then friends, then friends of friends.
Without planning it, I became the go-to person for good wine. Word of mouth did the rest — and one day, I realized it was time to turn this into something.
In 2018, I opened La Quille on rue de Rennes. For six years, I learned the trade: not only as a wine merchant but also as a host and entrepreneur. Over time, a new desire emerged: to offer more than just a wine shop. A living space. A place to welcome, share, and inspire.
Every event we held confirmed this intuition: people didn’t just come to buy, they came to experience something.
