LAGRANGE - 0.75L - 2016 - Chateau Lagrange
Château Lagrange is a wine estate located in the Médoc region, in the southwest of France. The field produces wines classified as third Grand Cru classified in the Bordeaux Official Classification of Wines.
The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted carefully before being vinified in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then raised for 20 months in French oak barrels, including 60% new.
Château Lagrange 2016 presents a dark and deep red dress, with aromas of ripe black fruit, blackcurrant, cherry and plum, as well as notes of vanilla, tobacco and liquorice from barrel breeding. On the palate, the wine is powerful and full -bodied, with dense and firm tannins, a beautiful acidity and a long finish.
This wine can be appreciated now, but it also has a significant childcare potential of up to 20 years in good conservation conditions. The 2016 vintage is considered one of the best vintages of recent years in Bordeaux, offering concentrated, rich and elegant wines with a beautiful aging capacity.
