Clay - 0.75L - 2021 - Domaine des Ardoisières
Red clay is a wine produced in the Savoy region, in France. The name of the wine comes from red clay soils on which the vines grow.
The wine is developed from grapes from three grape varieties: the world, the Persian and the Pinot Noir. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted before being in a hurry. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
The Domaine des Ardoisières Rougile is characterized by its deep ruby dress and its intense bouquet of red fruits, spices and wooded notes. On the palate, it is elegant, well balanced, with flexible tannins and a long finish. This wine perfectly accompanies red meats, sauce dishes and cheeses.
The Domaine des Ardoisières is a family wine -growing property located in the Combe de Savoie valley. The wines are cultivated in biodynamics. The field of red clay slates is an example of the quality of wines produced in this unique wine region.
