Fief Lagrange - 2019 - Château Lagrange
The 2019 Lagrange stronghold is a red wine produced in the Saint-Julien appellation, in the Médoc wine region in France. It is produced by Château Lagrange, which is classified third Grand Cru in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855.
The 2019 vintage was particularly favorable for vineyards in the region, with ideal climatic conditions for the growth and maturation of grapes. The 2019 Lagrange stronghold is made up of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 7% small Verdot, with an aging in oak barrels for about 12 months.
The wine has a deep and intense red dress, with aromas of red and black fruits such as cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, as well as spice and vanilla notes from aging in oak barrels. On the palate, it is balanced and structured, with firm but silky tannins, and a long and persistent finish.
The 2019 Lagrange stronghold can be tasted now, but it is also able to age in the cellar for several years, thus developing additional complexity and increased elegance.
