Château Maucaillou 2014 is a red wine from the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation, in the Bordeaux region.
To the eye, the 2014 Maucaillou castle has a deep and shiny red dress with purple reflections.
On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe black fruits such as black cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by spicy and wooded notes of vanilla, liquorice and cedar.
On the palate, this wine is ample and fleshy, with a beautiful tannic structure which gives it a long length in the mouth. We find the aromas of black fruit, as well as notes of roasting and dark chocolate.
The Château Maucaillou 2014 is an elegant and balanced wine, which can be appreciated now or kept in the cellar for several years for a subsequent tasting.
